How to improve image compression in Outlook

By default, Outlook compresses images in emails rather poorly when sending them. Here's how to improve this and get high-quality images in the emails you send.

Set a better image resolution in Outlook

  1. Create a new email. Go to File > Options > Mail

  2. On your right, click on the button Editor preferences, and choose > Advanced options

  3. In Advanced Options, scroll down to the section: Image size and quality

  4. Select your default resolution: “220” or “High fidelity,” for example, and confirm with OK.

  5. Bravo, it’s done : your images are now of a way higher quality
